This event features an Open Space Peace Summit.
What is Open Space?
An open space discussion (often part of an “Open Space Technology” event) is a participant-driven meeting format where attendees create the agenda themselves around a central theme or question. It’s designed to foster self-organized conversations, creativity, and collaboration, especially when the group includes diverse perspectives or when complex issues are being addressed.
-
No fixed agenda beforehand.
-
Starts with a central theme or guiding question.
-
Participants propose topics they’re passionate about.
-
Attendees choose which discussions to join, moving freely between conversations (this is called “the law of two feet”).
-
Outcomes are usually recorded and shared afterward.
-
Encourages active participation.
-
Surfaces emergent ideas and insights.
-
Builds community ownership over outcomes.
-
Works well for conferences, strategic planning, and community dialogues.
Let’s come together for International Peace Day!
Join us for a day of music, food, healing, open space discussion & community resources!
